Preparing list of binders

Return to Grafting documentation | Tutorials | Instructions

You may provide a list of known binders from the glycan array screening results.  If you wish to learn how we collate glycan array screening results and determine binders, click here.

Once you have determined which glycans in the library should bind, copy their ID numbers into a plain text file. In Windows, you can use the programs “Wordpad” or “Notepad” usually found under accessories via the start menu. List the IDs in a column.

Here is what it should look like:

131
127
129
125
182
157
159

These numbers correspond to glycan ID numbers used on the CFG v4.0 array. They refer to a specific glycan, conjugated via a linker to the array surface. Each of the 442 glycans on v4.0 have a unique ID number found in the leftmost column of the array results.
