Install VMD

Notes

Choose the 1.9.4 version for your operating system.
Linux users: use the RHEL version even if you are not using RHEL.
If you already have VMD installed, whatever version you have should be ok.

Install the 3D-SNFG plugin

Click here for instructions and to download the plugin.

Notes

If you don't have a preference, choose Option 2.
If you already have a vmdrc file, temporarily rename yours before extracting the zip archive.

Download the Course Data

Click here to download the zip file containing the data.

Save it to any convenient location and extract the contents.
To unpack the data, use "tar -xzf DATA_Fall2012.tgz".

Windows Users

For those who are using Windows and cannot use the NetCDF format, click here to download the trajectory in mdcrd format. This trajectory does not contain box information, so load it as "AMBER Coordinate." (You might need to right-click and choose "save as".)
